Earth Design Synthetic Turf

Way too many issues! Be warned. The crew showed up an hour later than scheduled - no big deal. The lack of clean-up diligence was not only unprofessional but it was downright dangerous. Scattered around, I discovered a razor blade, a half-dozen irrigation spikes, several pieces of PVC irrigation pipes, and remnants of the crew's lunch packaging - ANY of which could have been very harmful - or even deadly - to my new puppy. When I alerted Seth to this, he said the office would call me to follow-up. They never did. A week later, I discovered that the crew accidentally cut the wiring to my irrigation and therefore my entire yard was receiving no water for ~10 days, amid a heat wave. I reached out to Seth and he ignored my text. I called the office the following day and Seth said he would handle - that a team member would come out on Sunday. They never did. I texted Seth at Noon and at 6pm on Sunday to check in, and never heard back. The following day, I called the office again. They sent someone out same day and let me know that Chris (the owner) would be reaching out to me. I never heard from him, but the issue was fixed that day. I know am hoping that all of my now-browned landscaping will come back to life. The other thing that's frustrating is that, even though there's fine print on the invoice to address this, Seth never actually brought up the risk that the sun reflecting off of my windows might burn/melt the turf, and that the warranty would not cover it. You would think that they would verbally describe this to you since it's the ONE thing they carve out of their warranty. At least give homeowner's a chance to assess the situation. One might choose to NOT put turf in certain areas, if they were properly informed. I now have to go outside every day to lay down blankets on certain areas of the turf - it's been quite a nightmare. And in response to my criticism, management then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that they didn't do any of this, even though I have photos and text messages documenting the incident. Lastly, if you have pets, be strongly advised that despite the "odor absorbing" granules, the turf absolutely reeks of urine after one week. It's nearly impossible to remove the smell, even if regularly using enzyme-based cleaners. Don't let them tell you otherwise.
