Wayne Dalton Garage Doors

Door was installed by a builder. The first thing I noticed was how LOUD it is when closing. The facing is made of thin materials that vibrate. It had multiple loose screws on the cross bracing and two that are missing. There are no holes where they should be and I have no drill bit that will cut through the material. It's now held tight with gorilla tape. The roller bracket at top left is not square and the roller is rubbing the side of the channel. I can't fix it without drilling holes that my drill bits can't make. Multiple windows across the top have broken corners and edges. This is the most poorly constructed garage door I have ever had.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an update on the status of a custom paint garage door that was ordered originally in June 2020. This door was ordered directly through WD and not a third party. The original door is defective (defect was found only after it was installed) and a new door was ordered in February 2021. It’s now January 2022 and no one can give us an estimated date of delivery. It is also impossible to get through to anyone beyond customer service as that is the only contact information that can be found and no one addresses complaints left on social media.

I ordered two Wayne Dalton garage doors through Lowes October of 2021 and am still waiting to have them installed. After numerous errors on the part of W-D to fulfill their end of the transaction they have lacked any sense of urgency to rectify the situation. Are they the only garage door supplier in the US? Because they act like it. Here is the play-by-play... After waiting the 90 days for delivery first stated by Lowes I found out that W-D did not even start building the doors because they had not done a site inspection (they never contacted me to arrange the inspection, nor informed me such an inspection was needed). The inspection happened in April of 2022 and I was told the wait time was now 120 days to build the doors. The doors shipped to the installer in October 2022. The installer showed up and found out W-D put the wrong door springs in the box. I am now waiting for WD to ship the correct springs to the installer. new date for parts to arrive is 12/27/22.

Wayne Dalton installed our door in July. They did an awesome job! The installer was awesome. Answered all our questions and explained everything! The door is extremely quiet and we Love it! Thank you so much for a great company.

I originally ordered a garage door in February for $847. In June I called for a status only to be told that Wayne Dalton never received the order, yes I received a confirmation email. I was forced to cancel and reorder the door. The price had increased to $1080. Lowes helped me reorder for original price. 2 hours later Wayne Dalton canceled order claiming the door was on backorder. Managed to get the door reordered for a 3rd time, received confirmation email and estimated shipping date email. Called to confirm door had shipped. Wayne Dalton said the order was canceled because they “do not ship to store.” When I pushed the issue they claimed that I canceled the order. Now they are telling me to reorder for the 4th time, current price $1388.54. 3 strikes and you are out Wayne Dalton.

We have had the most HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE with this company! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! We waited OVER A YEAR for our door and then were told that it had been hijacked by the installer until ransom demands were met!! I could go on and on! Finally we were told that the higher ups were washing their hands of our situation and to get a refund from Lowes! Absolutely PATHETIC!! WE NEVER GOT OUR DOOR!!

I have the same problems as everyone else on the list. Do not buy from them unless you just don’t care if or when you will get your door. I also have been lied to about when door was shipped. Let this company go out of business because they it’s apparent they reAlly don’t give a rats butt about the customers!

This company is a joke. Ordered garage doors in June, paid in full. Was told today, December 17th, that they will not make nor install our doors. Repeated attempts to contact company in between failed.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE. EDWARD (?) WAS A WONDERFUL REPRESENTATIVE FOR 'WAYNT DALTON' COMPANY. NEW TENSION SPRING INSTALLED WITHIN AN HOUR THEN GONE!!! THE BEST. NOW, IF ONLY GENIE WILL RESPOND TO MY EMAIL?!

I have now had my doors for 2 weeks. They failed to deliver the locks for the doors and said they would ship them. They also delivered 7 foot tracks for an 8 foot door. They will not return my calls. I am a builder building multiple houses at a time. How hard is it for an individual homeowner to get service?

Bought a garage door in June 2021 was lied to about when the door was shipped by customer service several times. Door arrived Oct 2021 and was missis the torque master. They said 2 to 4 weeks longer to get missing parts and it was Wayne Dalton's fault. You would think that would make it right. If you order from them need at least 6 months to get your door and don't expect any type of customer care. They don't care.

I would not give Wayne Dalton Garage Doors 1 star I bought 2 garage doors thru Lowes on Dec 8 2020 still waiting and try to call them DO NOT BUY WAYNE DALTON
