I am way past due in sharing this review, but I think it has helped that we've had a year to live in our renovated home. When we initially met with Jessica and Efrain, we knew we wanted to open up our living spaces more, but once we started thinking about taking out walls, we just didn't know where to go from there to keep it a well planned space that feels cozy and inviting. Efraim and Jessica listened to our goals and came back with a reconfigured floor plan for our main living areas that open up the main living areas but also provided a Bonus room that has given me a beautiful home office and a ton of cubby/storage space for the detritus of our busy family. Since I work from home it's a bonus that I can close that room off when I need the separation. Their level of attention to detail, and skill and experience in planning living spaces is priceless. There are so many little details that contribute to the livability of our home. From the beautiful under cabinet lighting, to a coffee station that hides away the clutter. Our home is gorgeous, cohesive, cozy and livable. It's a pleasure to work in a kitchen that is completely functional, with drawers and cabinetry smartly planned to maximize functionality and organization. I would not hesitate to work with this team again, or to refer them to friends and family.

Zeitgeist was a great fit for our project. The team came up with some really creative solutions for our remodel, specifically, a new layout for an awkward master bath, a hidden pantry captured from free space and a beautiful coffee bar. They have organized flow in place that kept us moving on our project and keep us on top of what was next. For those that aren't interested in every detail of design, Zeitgeist could take the lead and deliver a beautiful finished home. With our project, we, the homeowners, had a very strong design aesthetic and preferred to get into the details. The team respected that and complimented our vision with their experience, advice and direction. Jessica also had great references for local lighting, tile and cabinet makers that helped bring our vision to life. We are so pleased with our remodel and finished dream home.

After losing our home in a wildfire, my husband and I decided to rebuild a modern home that would take advantage of our hilltop views and pastoral setting. Zeitgeist Sonoma provided a full range of architectural and design services that resulted in a beautiful modern home with clean lines and calm flowing spaces. They were responsive to our questions and needs, and team was easy to work with. The full team has a design aesthetic that respects and took advantage of the site and that allowed our home to 'blend in' to the natural landscaping. There were some initial bumps in the process when actual construction started, but Zeitgeist and the contractor began meeting regularly to address questions and issues. We wholeheartedly recommend Zeitgeist Sonoma.

We had a very positive and professional experience with Zeitgeist. Our project consisted of complete remodeling of two bathrooms (moving plumbing, upgrading and adding electrical, etc.) as well as a partial remodel of master bathroom to include cabinetry and a new fireplace. They LISTEN to what we were trying to achieve with our designs and remodels and offered great feedback and some alternative ideas, which we appreciated. Their attention to detail is excellent. The drawing provided to us from which our contractor and subs worked were clear and easy for them to follow. They happily accommodated changes, were a terrific asset to procuring lighting fixtures, fans, hardware, tile, and all needed items. We would happily work with them on future projects.

Jessica has a wonderful eye for color and design. In the midst of her busy schedule she took on my project. Coming in from the loss of my home in the fires she helped me furnish an empty home that was completely overwhelming. She helped me break it into doable segments. Efraim, Jessica, and their staff are very easy to collaborate with. With my 30+ years experience as a design professional (landscape architect) working with multi-disciplinary project teams, I found communication to be excellent. Our design project, converting a garage addition into an elegant and compliant accessory dwelling unit (ADU), involved concept and design development, and a presentation ready for our municipality's design review board. Delivery, which included several schemes with tight constraints and a perfect final design, was on time and on budget.

Jessica and her team are complete professionals. We had a number of changes we wanted to make to our home, including a substantial change to our living room. She had someone with her that had an architectural background who climbed into our attic to make sure the changes were doable and made accurate drawings for us to use a decision tool. Besides the redesign work, she was terrific at helping us narrow down choices when trying to make a decision out of the of myriad of sofas, lamps and tables. When we had an issue with our sofa after it was delivered, Jessica took charge of all follow-up to ensure that the resolution met our specifications. We really liked our old kitchen, parts of which dated to between 1906 and the 1930s. We wanted to keep the historic feel but replace the parts that no longer functioned well. What a terrific team! Efraim was instrumental in developing techniques to turn our 1990's tract home into a traditional farmhouse in Healdsburg. His ideas included the lifting of beams, opening of walls, etc. Jessica has an amazing design eye, and incredible commitment to client service. I explained my vision and we worked out a plan whereby she would show me the top 3 choices for each decision point (windows, lighting fixtures, surfaces for countertops, etc) to help create a consistent, beautiful vision. This saved me time and created a terrific partnership. There were times we didn't agree but I always appreciated Jessica's passion and commitment to the holistic vision we'd created. I would recommend Jessica especially for clients who've got a good idea of what they want and a mature, experienced partner to help implement their vision.

We engaged Zeitgeist Sonoma to help us with the design - both architectural and look/feel for a remodel of a 1500 sq ft home we bought to retire. Zeitgeist helped us expand our ideas of what could be done with the home to make it more spacious and bring additional natural light. We needs the expertise to work with the city and the ordinances which they understood. The design part was an area where we already had ideas especially for the kitchen and master bath. Zeitgeist's industry connections for tile, flooring and other needs was quite helpful. Ultimately this was more of a DIY project so once plans were approved with the city and work was starting, we concluded our partnership with Zeitgeist.

After building our house we needed help with furniture, rugs, art work etc. We worked with Jessica Wichmann for over a year. She is professional, organized, and experienced as well as creative and intuitive. She is a good listener and balances those skills with guidance as to what will work with your space. We chose some custom pieces (she has good sources). With custom work there are many issues to consider. You cannot see the finished product ahead of time and there are many detailed decisions. Jessica was attentive to all the details and communicated well and promptly with both us and the vendors. Her expertise created both a beautiful end product and a successful process. We could not have done this without her. Among our choices are rugs, photography, "live edge" dining table, headboard and bench, and dining chairs. We did have one issue with some couch cushions and Jessica communicated with the vendor and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. I recommend her and will use her again1!

Jessica and Efraim are very collaborative and we had a great experience working with them on a complete home remodel. They really helped us nail down our stylistic tastes and create a plan and execution strategy to achieve a cohesive design that worked for both my husband and me. My husband is an engineer and very functionally oriented, while I work in marketing and design and am very aesthetically oriented, but they were able to satisfy both of us. Jessica and I met about four times in my mid-century home before a complete kitchen makeover. I appreciated her suggestions about the new use of the space especially. I was glad she thoroughly questioned me about the way I use my kitchen, so that the configuration of the cabinets fit my family's needs, down to the details of the width and depth of drawers. She and I met one time at a tile store, and she helped me select the backsplash tile. She guided me in the decision, so the final choice was mine, but it was like I gained all the knowledge imparted from her about color and finish and composition. It's a subtle but important difference with Jessica, that she patiently works with someone so their preferences are expressed, and then she shapes their instincts so that the result will be pleasing and timeless.

I hated my kitchen for the first 17 years of owning this house, but never had the courage to remodel. I knew it needed to be gutted, and I had strong ideas about what exactly I wanted, but the number of decisions that then had to be made overwhelmed me. I didn't just need a talented designer to rescue the project; I needed someone I could trust, someone with the patience to work with me, someone capable of steering me in the right direction when necessary. Jessica was all of that. She listened to what I wanted and made it come to life. We were looking to totally do a total makeover of hour kitchen/dining room/family rooms which flow into each other. Jessica was always prompt at our appointments, asked the right questions and took really good notes. She would then return at an agreed upon time with great selection of options suited for the needs that we had as well as our budget. In the end, we were exceptionally happy with our designed spaces, furniture options as well as colors and finishing touches that she recommended and now enjoy living our lives and get great reviews from our guests and visitors. We highly recommend Zeitgeist Sonoma for all our interior design and remodel needs.

The thought of remodeling our kitchen was very overwhelming. I had some basic ideas of things I wanted changed, but had no idea of where to begin. Jessica listened to my wish list and used her professional, creative style and came up with a classic plan that we are enjoying more that we could imagine.
