Espresso maker or coffee machine?

Do you need coffee to get going in the morning? If so, I bet you take your coffee very seriously.

What type of coffee-making facilities do you have at home? Have you opted for a stovetop espresso maker or perhaps a coffee machine? If you have any of these, or even a jar of filter coffee, we'd love to see a pic!

I agree with Vintage Jazz, it's tea for me too. I do treat myself to coffee once in a while on really difficult mornings however, in those instances I opt for the Nespresso machine.

I used to collect vintage coffee machines. Some of the old Italian stovetops have beautiful designs, but my favourite is a 1970's La Pavoni Europiccola- chromed brass built to last and completely repairable. It makes great espresso too.

I use some fantastic coffee, with a caramel after taste, in a cafetiere. I'll dig out a picture soon.

Coffee all the way ... Used to be a freshly ground then into a simple coffee filter machine, had a gaggia espresso machine but didn't use it as much. Now just treated myself to a Cuissinart grind and brew machine, a bit chunky in terms of appearance but makes grand coffee...

We have Lemon & Ginger tea early first thing but a leisurely coffee with breakfast. Recently bought a Dulce Gusto machine and use the pods. So easy and clean, love it. His fave is an Americano, mine is a long Cortado (I know, a contradiction)! The Melody III manual version allows you a bit of personalisation, and looks so cute, pic here, http://www.pinterest.com/pin/243194448603462895/

Tea first thing but could not survive the day without coffee. We make a large pot of expresso stove pot style and use a frother for milk - a bit of a bother but lovely strong coffee and makes enough for all of us - teenagers included. Lovely smell too.

I love my Presso (now renamed as Rok). Uses water boiled from my kettle, hand pressed, great design, and great coffee.

Even if I didn't drink coffee (which I do) I'd have this stunning machine on my worktop (which I also do!) Makes amazing coffee too. For me its an espresso with hot milk, but never after 11am.
