    Hi, the pool has been designed so that most of the sand is separate to the pool. Instead of all being a sloping beach entry, it has a concrete upstand at the end. The colours complement so you don't notice it. The little sand that is within the pool is handled by the standard type pool filters. The owners do sweep the pool manually also, which helps.     Hi Penelope, thanks for your question. Yes the beach is a nice feature of this home. The sand to use is available from most good landscape supplies, ask for fine white sand suitable for childrens sand pits or golf course bunkers. With this pool we created the shell so that not much sand enters the water. If you have a standard beach entry pool, make sure you check with your pool supplier to see if the filter will handle the additional sand. Thanks. Tim Christopher
