What do I put on the wall?
We just renovated my living room dining room and I am at a loss for what to put on the wall its painted Benjamin Moore vintage pewter All the windows are going to have plantation shutters and I only have this one wall to have something on My husband just built a custom 163 in reclaimed wood table and its stunning but I need help accessorizing it as well since it's so big I don't k ow what to put on it? Chairs are restoration hardware and chandelier will be replaced with a crystal and metal orb from there. Help!!!

Colour to acccompany stone wall
Kommentare (3)I agree with the cooler colours suggested above. Your stone wall has plenty of soft, powder pinks and yellows and therefore appears very lively. The biggest mistake people make is to match the beautiful colours of stone with wall paint of equal liveliness which leads to a rivalry between colour and stone. A much subtler approach is needed. Check the stone for it least visible colours create a complimentary colour match. There might be hidden very subtle, sand greys and soft pebble colours which then will let your wall shine in the way you have envisaged it....mehrwhat furniture color?
Kommentare (4)Hi, I would suggest white for the bookshelve to keep it as neutral as possible for colorfull books. But I don't see a need to go with the same color for the sideboard. this can be doone in either grey or any darker color you like. Could be a nice eyecatcher. Christiane...mehrMeditation corner
Kommentare (2)I would hang a large textile such as Moroccan bedspread, sheer drapery, or other fabric that you feel enhances meditation on the wall. This will also absorb sound and make the area quieter. Kommentare (6)The pillowcase gives you a good impression. For me light colours do not work as good as darker ones. The petrol (right corner) would be great. But what colour does the girls love? If it is pink you go for a darker one or purple. And it is always best to test the look first. So buy just a small sample of the colour and try. If a dark colour is too dark for you, just paint one wall and the others white....mehrlndaisy13

vor 7 JahrenYou have a lovely home and what a beautiful table! I think you could add a collection of some nice stoneware to the table. Not every table can accommodate large crocks or vases, but you definitely can. They could be filled with seasonal flowers or greenery or left empty. Whether antique or not there are many finishes, and I included the last three photos to show some as I think the blue/green colour would look lovely with the wood table.
I agree with Maureen as I think the painted trim above is distracting.

I would eliminate the moulding above the paneling. IMO it's too weak in scale for the room. I would select two chandeliers for over your table to provide adequate light levels. I might consider toning down the color of the timbers
