So! When do you think it'll come back? Home Depot has it but they say that the manufacturer has not contacted them for restocking. Bummer! How bout you guys? Everywhere I find this it is Out of Stock. What happened? Was it too difficult to ship without damage? Any ideas?

I would hang a large textile such as Moroccan bedspread, sheer drapery, or other fabric that you feel enhances meditation on the wall. This will also absorb sound and make the area quieter. Paint the walls of ONLY the meditation space to create a visual area for the activity, even though the stairs have open risers and there is no door.

Hi Ella, first of all, let me say that you have some really nice vintage pieces in your home! If you are planning to keep the light grey rug I would go with a darker shade of grey for the daybed and a lighter shade or a completely different color for the fabric of the sidechair (e.g. like the dark blue in your third photo) in order to create more contrast and give the room a more dynamic feel. You also mentioned a portrait to be hung above the sideboard - maybe the colors of this picture can aslo inspire the fabrics, it's always nice if the same color pops up in different details of a room. @Gartendesign: Da stimme ich Ihnen zu. An manchen Pflanzen hängt man. Als wir damals unseren Garten anlegten war kein Geld mehr übrig. Ich habe damals von meiner Mutter eine winzigen Ableger Ihres Kirschlorbeers bekommen und habe mich über meine erste Pflanze unglaublich gefreut. Heute ist der Kirschlorbeer eine toller Strauch in Kugelform. Bei der Gelegenheit möchte ich auch gleich mein Problem anhängen, weil es zum Thema passt. Ich habe einen Blauregen in einem Topf. Seit Jahren schon. Aber jetzt scheint ihm auch Erde und Platz für die Wurzeln auszugehen. Das Problem ist, dass er bis im ersten Stock gewachsen ist und auch schon einen dicken knorrigen Stamm ausgebildet hat. Den werde ich wohl nicht umgetopft bekommen, oder? Wenn nein, kann ich Ihn einfach kappen und dann wieder neu einpflanzen? Oder wird das dann nichts mehr?
