A library of cookbooks
The island is soft maple with a latte finish on it (which means it is striated with a glaze on top), almost a milky finish. The island counter top is granite called verde marinara, a deeply-colored variety of colors with a patina of historical marble tops. It’s a great place to sit and relax while looking up recipes.
