Tracy Berman InteriorsWhile we didn't move anything around in the bathroom we did upgrade everything. The new vanity has roll outs for storage and built in electrical plugs for convenience. The tower that sits on the counter top also has a built in plug. The mirrors are medicine cabinets for additional storage. The new tub is deeper and wider then the old tub for luxurious baths. The tub deck is Taj Mahal Quartzite, and we used the slab so it is seamless. It wateralls into the shower and was used on the shower dam as well. The tile is the focal point and is marble and mother of pearl. His and her niches with a mosaic pattern add interest to the shower. The shower floor is also marble. The chandelier is capez shells and adds just the right amount of bling and reflective quality for this tranquil master bathroom.

BK Interior Designs LLCThis compact ensuite guest bathroom is inspired by nature and incorporates a biophilic design. The floors are finished with a wood look plank tile that is continued up the shower wall creating a contrasting feature. The remaining walls are tiled with a smooth glossy white tile and offer a clean and modern feel, brightening up the small space. A floating white vanity with smart storage was sourced to make the most use of the area. The south-facing, high awning window offers direct views of the mature trees on the property and allows the bright morning light to flood the space. The window ledge is styled with fresh herbs including lavender and eucalyptus that release invigorating and refreshing aromas.
Your Nest By Design, Robin KelleyMaster Bathroom Remodel, took a 90's track house bathroom with heavy soffits and L-shaped vanity - and turned it into a Modern Spanish Revival inspired oasis, with two arched openings framing personal vanities with furniture grade details. Iron sconces flank arched dressing mirrors. Custom hand-painted terra-cotta tile backsplash. The shower was expanded and a foot ledge pony wall separates the shower from the space for a freestanding soaking tub. The shower is tiled with an accent of hand-painted terra-cotta tiles, balanced by other budget friendly tiles and materials. Terracotta shower floor and floor tile ground the space with authentic Mediterranean flavor.

Michelle McKoy DesignsThis was once a bedroom with hardwood floors and 8 ft ceilings. The small closet was converted into a water closet. The freestanding tub was placed in front of the window. An orb was hung above for added light.
The back wall was tiled with 48x24 tile from floor to ceiling to help make the space look larger. Penny tile was used on the floor of the shower. Because the glass was one solid piece and went to the ceiling there was no need for a door. The vanity/furniture piece had a modern look with a trough sink and 2 modern chrome faucets that match the rest of the plumbing in the bathroom. The back lite mirror lights up the room with the added can lights above. An armoire had electrical added to the back side of the piece and houses all of the toiletries for the space. We changed the bathtub to a shower, moved the toilet, and went from a single sink to a double. We also added frosted french doors to create a grand entrance. Using a lot of white with chrome accents created a calming environment where our clients can relax at the end of a hard day.

Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncAn original 1930’s English Tudor with only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath spanning about 1730 sq.ft. was purchased by a family with 2 amazing young kids, we saw the potential of this property to become a wonderful nest for the family to grow.
The plan was to reach a 2550 sq. ft. home with 4 bedroom and 4 baths spanning over 2 stories.
With continuation of the exiting architectural style of the existing home.
A large 1000sq. ft. addition was constructed at the back portion of the house to include the expended master bedroom and a second-floor guest suite with a large observation balcony overlooking the mountains of Angeles Forest.
An L shape staircase leading to the upstairs creates a moment of modern art with an all white walls and ceilings of this vaulted space act as a picture frame for a tall window facing the northern mountains almost as a live landscape painting that changes throughout the different times of day.
Tall high sloped roof created an amazing, vaulted space in the guest suite with 4 uniquely designed windows extruding out with separate gable roof above.
The downstairs bedroom boasts 9’ ceilings, extremely tall windows to enjoy the greenery of the backyard, vertical wood paneling on the walls add a warmth that is not seen very often in today’s new build.
The master bathroom has a showcase 42sq. walk-in shower with its own private south facing window to illuminate the space with natural morning light. A larger format wood siding was using for the vanity backsplash wall and a private water closet for privacy.
In the interior reconfiguration and remodel portion of the project the area serving as a family room was transformed to an additional bedroom with a private bath, a laundry room and hallway.
The old bathroom was divided with a wall and a pocket door into a powder room the leads to a tub room.
The biggest change was the kitchen area, as befitting to the 1930’s the dining room, kitchen, utility room and laundry room were all compartmentalized and enclosed.
We eliminated all these partitions and walls to create a large open kitchen area that is completely open to the vaulted dining room. This way the natural light the washes the kitchen in the morning and the rays of sun that hit the dining room in the afternoon can be shared by the two areas.
The opening to the living room remained only at 8’ to keep a division of space.
Phoenix Home RemodelingLisa & Tom were looking for a remodel to improve their out of fashion guest bathroom. They also needed our expertise on how to make the space more functional.
As a first request, they asked for trendy, fun, and functional elements, and together with our designer selected the perfect combination. As everything goes so well together, they did not recognize their own guest bathroom at all.
The new countertop, mirrors, and lights added a clean and brighter feel, and the backsplash and White Shiplap Wall Plank an elegant and modern look.
It was time to give the shower a makeover! The new shower wall has a funny design and is the perfect complement to the tile chosen for the niche. We replaced the bathtub and installed new accessories to improve the appearance and functionality of the shower.
