Kirk Riley DesignThis Master Bathroom features high contrasts in color and shapes. Modern black fixtures standout in a backdrop over-sized subway tiles. A custom vanity rests on heated porcelain floors in a faux wood pattern. Carrera marble in a chevron pattern is the star of the shower in the niche and the floor is tiled in a hex pattern. Updating the floor plan allowed for a larger shower and increased storage. The barn door is a fresh update for the closet entrance.

This newly remodeled family home and in law unit in San Anselmo is 4000sf of light and space. The first designer was let go for presenting grey one too many times. My task was to skillfully blend all the color my clients wanted from their mix of Latin, Hispanic and Italian heritage and get it to read successfully.
Wow, no easy feat. Clients alway teach us so much. I learned that much more color could work than I ever thought possible.
The Kitchen Design CenterEliminated old Jacuzzi tub, too hard to enter & dangerous.
Created separate water closet with lots of storage.
Large walk in shower with all the amenities.
Room for island/vanity for make-up.
Up dated color pallet.
Merit Flooring, Kitchen and BathThis after picture gives a good view of the full bathroom. The cabinets are a Shaker style painted grey with a quartz countertop. The shower has a marble floor with 3x6 subway tile. Quartz is also used for the shower curb. The wood floors are original to the home.

2. Thomas O’Brien Hicks pendants in Antique Nickel hang over the mirrors from Restoration Hardware.
3. The Custom mosaic Niche in the Shower is repeated on the opposite wall beside the Tresham Toilet by Kohler.
4. Faucets and Shower Hardware are the Grafton Collection from Restoration Hardware.
5. Walls are painted with Sherwin Williams Emerald Paint in SW6204, Sea Salt, and the Wainscote is one shade lighter in SW6203 Spare White.
6. Pocket doors were installed using the original 100 year old doors, and add usable space in the room.

Pacific Coast Custom DesignBeautiful updates to dated spaces. We updated the master bathrooms and 2 guest bathrooms with beautiful custom vanities with recessed fronts. The beautiful gray finish works wonderfully with the Carrara marble and white subway tile. We created recessed soap niches in the guest bathrooms and a deluxe recessed niche with shelves in the master bathroom. The lovely gray and white palate gives a fresh calming feeling to these spaces. Now the client has the bathrooms of their dreams.

The layout worked well for both husband and wife, but they were ready for new high-end amenities.
