Ecclectic Kitchen Remodel under $400
My husband and I painted our old hand-me-down fridge with $9 chalkboard paint, added a $25 thrift store dresser and a $45 garage sale stove. The shelf above the stove was originally a floor joist that we cleaned up and attached to the wall to add character and history. We also tore up several layers of linoleum and refinished the wood floors underneath with a dark walnut stain.
