Due to the brown granite and ivory cabinets, a lighter gray-blue color paint was used which was found throughout the striations of the countertops. The perfect solution was to incorporate brown accent pieces above the cabinets and on the counters. Yellow accents were also used to tie-in the painted yellow buffet (not shown). Beachy accents were used as well. Silver was also used to accent the appliances and cabinet pulls.
