Urban Oasis Landscape DesignA sumptuous palette of yellow and purple plants graces the slope. It’s a lush and biodiverse selection of California natives and the spirited expanse of flowers and foliage grounds the new house into the surrounding hillside. Aromatic native Sages, Monkey Flower and Yarrow play off the rich green of Coyote Bush while native Blonde Ambition Blue Grama grass brushes the magenta pom-pom flowers of Pink Melaleuca tree. The tight purple flowers of California Lilac complement the open faced California Sunflower. A Coast Live Oak was planted to stand sentry over all. Plants are all hardy and highly drought tolerant. The Kurapia groundcover lawn is verdant but, once established, hardly needs watering. The constant buzzing and bird warbling create a soothing natural soundtrack.

Carmel Malone Landscape Designthis large block next to the residence was an unused space. The bike track begins at the rear of the main garden, crosses the seasonal creek to the multi use play area where the bikes can be parked. Grab a drink from the water bubbler after shooting some hoops or climbing on the equipment. Grab you bike and continue on the loop to the flying fox, over another bridge around a tight bend to the fire pit nestled half way down the embankment. The bike track forms a continuous loop with places to explore throughout the journey. Large boulders through the creek provide pedestrian access directly from the firepit to the play ground.
The planting plan takes you through different zones of indigenous planting adding to the diversity of the area.
Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.Our client hired us to renovate their yard that had an old patio that was installed incorrectly years previous. They wanted as maintenance free as possible but with a definite budget in mind. Lastly, they wanted to begin to grow a lot of vegetables at home and therefore wanted some raised cedar planters to suit their needs. We utilized rundle for the bedding areas and concrete edges for ease of maintaining the property in their retirement years. Great project!!
Pro Dunk HoopsAndrea has created a wonderful area for the family. A 50 by 35 blacktop is the perfect size to house a half-court allowing for a full three-point line all the way across. This is a Pro Dunk Platinum Basketball System that was purchased in July of 2012. It was installed on a 50 ft wide by a 35 ft deep playing area in Wallkill, NY. Woodland Construction Group LLCWoodland Construction Group has masterfully transformed a 1962 split-level ranch home on the west side of Portland. This complete whole home renovation has breathed new life into the home while respecting its timeless charm. The kitchen remodel was a focal point, with its size significantly increased and fully custom cabinetry, Cortez countertops, and a large island. The addition of a wine bar and coffee bar, along with an expanded entertaining area, have made this once small kitchen into a functional mid-size kitchen and the favorite gathering spot.
The addition of black Marvin 12-foot sliding glass doors invites an abundance of natural light, creating a bright and welcoming ambiance. New French White Oak hardwood flooring adds a touch of luxury and chic. This is a Pro Dunk Silver Basketball System that was purchased in May of 2013. It was installed on a 30 ft wide by a 30 ft deep playing area in Port Matilda, PA. Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.Our client contracted us to design and build a functional and interesting water front project that had to be family friendly!! They wanted a cozy fire pit area that also contained a 3 piece natural rock bubbler. They also wanted a spa area with lounger space for sunbathing as well as a beach area for sandcastles and beach toy storage. No expense was spared with a custom pergola, natural rock retaining and steps as well as landscape lighting and well placed trees and shrubs. Concrete edge and aggregate beds make for a low maintenance dream yard!!
