The Amendola Group, Inc.
This wonderful stone cape nestled on 10 plus acres—located in the countryside of the Hudson Valley region of NY— is home to a property that was entirely re-invented. Together with the vision of a very design-savvy client, the Amendola team transformed this property into what you see below. The photos will take you from conception to completion, resulting in an outdoor living space that can be used throughout all four seasons.

We worked with our customer closely on this design to create a bespoke, completely personal garden. There is plenty of space for outdoor dining as well as additional features to add interest such as the water feature and pergola. We have also used the best, high quality materials to make sure this garden will stay looking this impressive forever!

Beautiful Water feature our team created for our clients. Our clients live in a neighborhood that backs up to I75 which can be noisy as they are trying to relax in their pool. They wanted us to create a water feature that would have an ambiance they could enjoy and would drown out sound of the cars as much as possible,

Painted Fern Garden Design
A third of an acre garden that had barely changed from when the owners moved in 30 years ago and sadly, due to Honey Fungus, had lost a number of trees over the years with others also in poor health.
As with so many of our client’s gardens, the existing planting that was in the garden didn’t offer much interest beyond spring. My clients were looking for an opportunity to garden and make better use of their plot. They were looking to have an area for their grandchildren to play in and were interested in adding a child-friendly water feature.
The topography of the site provided a gentle drop in level running across the width of the garden. This enabled an obvious location to site a water rill with the upper level providing a viewpoint to position a bench. Carefully positioned new borders were then placed to offer some division to the garden, whilst still allowing a connection of the individual spaces.
In order to span the seasons with the planting we positioned a border half-way down the garden. The planting scheme here whilst looking good all year round, was designed specifically with winter in mind and was sited to be viewed from the kitchen window.
A group of four Stewartia pseudocamellia trees were planted to act as structural features surrounding the water rill and would offer interest from buds, flowers, bark and foliage, whilst also being Honey Fungus resistant.

Giant feature boulders positioned within the garden add gravity to the open nature of the area. These are offset with specimen Japanese maple trees.
Arbordale Landscaping
Stepping stones in a minimal gravel paved area lead past two lounge chairs to the intimate dining area. The herringbone-patterned limestone patio dissipates into a lush planting bed filled with loose swaths of shade-loving perennials and seasonal bulbs. Beech hedging, and formal clipped evergreens, surround the space and provide privacy, structure and winter interest to the garden. On axis to the main interior living space of the home, the fountain, is the focal point of the garden. A limestone water wall featuring an engraved pattern of fallen Honey Locust leaves nods to the centrally located mature Honey Locust tree that anchors the garden. Water, flowing down the wall, falls a short distance into a pool with a submerged limestone panel. The light noise of the falling water helps soften the sounds of the bustling downtown neighbourhood, creating a tranquil back drop for living and entertaining.

greencube garden and landscape design
We have a designed a modern, textural courtyard in Sevenoaks using a muted palette of wood, grey porcelain and nordic tier cladding. This semi-enclosed space creates a wonderful connection to the newly refurbished home which leads up to the lawn and summerhouse. We've planted perennials, ornamental grasses and roses, added a backbone of evergreen structure and a raised planter to create a vertical green wall rather than 3 separate borders.
