Kristin Hoaglund DesignThis beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.

Roughan Interior DesignThis Dutch colonial was designed for a NBA Coach and his family. It was very important that the home be warm, tailored and friendly while remaining functional to create an atmosphere for entertainment as well as resale. This was accomplished by using the same paint color throughout the 11,000 sq.ft home while each space conveyed a different feeling. We are proud to say that the house sold within 7 days on the market.

Lindsay MacRae Interiors, LLCA full renovation for this boy's bedroom included custom built-ins on both ends of the room as well as new furniture, lighting, rug, accessories, and a Roman shade. The built-ins provide storage space and elegantly display an extensive collection of sports memorabilia. The built-in desk is a perfect place for studying and homework. A new recliner adds the right amount of sophistication. The vestibule walls were covered in grasscloth and have a beautiful texture.

No ChintzThe floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs master bedroom overlooking the water is a restful sight but brought in glare at certain times of the day in a space which is always about calm. The No Chintz team did what they do so well in layering the glass first with a soft unlined Roman blind, then a block out layer so essential for complete rest, and over that, an ethereal translucent fabric in the palest of greens. The layering has given the entire wall of glass a softness and style, making the bedroom a welcoming place of respite.
