Kitchen renovation, Barrington Hills, IL
Design-Build kitchen renovation: Added a large new charcoal painted island with a highly figured polished accent granite top, with a gas cook-top and pendant exhaust hood ducted to the exterior. Replaced existing tile floor with new 18×18 stone flooring with 9×18 cuts to create a random appearance. Cleaned and refinished the existing wood cabinets with a grey glaze to complement the new island and replaced tops with black Absolute granite in a leather finish. Replaced the cabinet hardware with new satin nickel pulls. Added a second prep sink. Replaced all the appliances, sink & faucet with new in a stainless steel finish. Added recessed lighting and dimmer controls.
