Lentz Kitchen & BathThis active family of five was in search of a home-away-from-home. Upon deciding to build a weekend getaway within an hour’s travel of the hustle and bustle of their main residence, their dream escape was in the making.
The country home features cozy, rustic finishes that make this home a comfortable gathering spot for the family to relax & unwind. In addition, it was important to the family to include functional amenities for hosting large holiday gatherings with friends and extended family.
The custom kitchen provided the solution.
Aesthetically, a smooth, custom-painted finish on the cabinets compliments the exposed logs and beams on the walls & ceiling. The mullion glass doors and the arch on the range hood off-set the horizontal lines of the log walls.
From a functional standpoint, the large center island not only serves as an efficient prep space, but also serves as a large buffet area for entertaining.
The kitchen design also features various work centers to accommodate more than one cook ... an absolute must, particularly during the holidays!

Homework Design.Build.RemodelThis is one of our favorite kitchen projects! We started by deleting two walls and a closet, followed by framing in the new eight foot window and walk-in pantry. We stretched the existing kitchen across the entire room, and built a huge nine foot island with a gas range and custom hood. New cabinets, appliances, elm flooring, custom woodwork, all finished off with a beautiful rustic white brick.

Nous avons également travaillé sur l’ergonomie de la pièce, en rehaussant par exemple, le lave-vaisselle pour un chargement plus aisé.
Une multitude d’éléments donnent du cachet à la cuisine. C’est le cas du casier de bouteilles sur mesure, du four 90cm Neff et de sa plaque gaz 5 feux.
Mes clients se sont très bien installés dans ce bel espace et sont très satisfaits du résultat.

The mantel above the range adds a touch of grandeur to the design, perfect for a kitchen in a period property such as this.
Build It FabThis kitchen is in a newly built, dutch colonial style home. We used windows in lieu of cabinets on the sink wall to incorporate the beautiful views. Counters are a honed black granite. The arch ceiling was done in a stained breadboard to continue the ceiling of the porches on either side of the kitchen. The floor is a quarter sawn oak. The industrial pipe fixture will be fitted with elongated edison bulbs.

Kitchens Bespoke LtdThis beautiful rural home is a total refurbishment of a derelict granary and piggery, and following a recommendation from a previous customer of ours, this client came to us to help them create a country kitchen with both traditional and contemporary elements.
To achieve the quality and detail required for this kitchen, we designed a traditional in-frame shaker kitchen and had it handmade here in Sussex. It is entirely handmade in veneered oak with solid oak drawer boxes.
The kitchen is painted in Soft Olive, a timeless green and the perfect colour scheme for a country kitchen. It works beautifully with the oak accents and granite worktops. The design did start out with a two-tone colour scheme, but with so much space and natural light in this room, we advised using the rich green across all the furniture and that the dimensions and style of the room could take the colour without being too dominated by it.
For the worktops and window sills, the client wanted something light but not quartz, so they chose a granite stone in Valley White from Sussex Stone & Ceramic, a beautifully patterned stone that works so well in this scheme.
Aged metals work beautifully in more traditional style kitchens, and the American Copper knurled handles and knobs by Crofts and Assinder are the perfect choices here, especially coupled with the brass hinges on the in-frame doors.
