Cabinet-S-TopIn this kitchen we removed the existing soffits and opened up the room by removing the peninsula and installed new Waypoint Living Spaces 630S door style, full overlay Maple cabinets with Cognac stain with crown molding up to the ceiling. Richilieu brushed nickel transitional metal pulls were installed on the cabinets. Wilsonart Bronzed Fusion laminate countertops were installed with a Blanco diamond equal bowl sink in biscuit color with Moen Arbor single handle pullout faucet in spot resistant stainless steel finish. The backsplash is 3x6 Rittehnhouse glazed wall tile in almond color installed in a subway pattern. On the floor is Permastone 16x16 groutfit tile in Indian Slate dune.

SoKiplingA listed very old cottage was in need of a new kitchen that would be sympathetic to the space and the chestnut dresser the client already had.To maximise the space, we moved the Everhot cooker from the end wall to the side. We were then able to utilise the corners better with an open shelving unit made out of reclaimed pine and oak.a new sink unit with cupboard with drawers and doors was also made and 2 pull-out worktops added to provide more work surface and a breakfast table. The height of the ceiling also allowed us to fit a shelving unit for the pots and pans and free up the lower shelves.

Mise en matièreDans cette maison du centre de Houilles (78) tout le rez-de-chaussée a été repensé. Autrefois composé de 4 pièces, les murs sont tombés et un IPN est venu les remplacer. Ainsi on arrive maintenant dans une vaste pièce où les espaces sont séparés par du mobilier pensé et réalisé sur mesure tels qu'un vestiaire à claustras, un bureau bibliothèque à double poste incluant 2 tables d'appoint intégrées et une cuisine américaine. Tout est dans un style classique contemporain avec une harmonie de couleurs très actuelles. La cuisine présente la particularité d'avoir été crée semi sur mesure afin de pouvoir créer en son centre cette îlot central géant qui accueil au quotidien toute la famille. Si des invités de dernière minute se joignent au repas, une table d'appoint intégrée dans l'îlot se tire afin de pouvoir loger tout le monde.

NB Interiors UKThe kitchen dining area was given a total revamp where the cabinets were repainted, with the lower ones in a dark blue and the top ones in 'beige' to match the wall and tile splashback colour. Splashes of mustard were used to give a pop of colour. The fireplace was tiled and used for wine storage and the lighting updated in antique brass fittings. The adjoining hall area was also updated and the existing cabinet modified and painted same blue as the lower kitchen ones for a cohesive look.
