Dorothy Greenlee DesignsThis nursery is the perfect room for a little baby boy and his mom. It has all of the comforts that any nursery would need. The client already had the bed, crib and other furniture. We basically turned this from a little girls room into a nursery for baby boy. We selected the color palette, we had the glider reupholstered in red, we made the custom cornice, supplied the nautical rug, accessories and night stand. The mirror was an old silver mirror that the client had, so we spray painted it and added some rope detail. We are thrilled with the way the room turned out and so are the clients. Che Bella Interiors Design + RemodelingThis bedroom was completed after our design was selected by BATC / Special Spaces for their 2014 Design Competition to design a bedroom for four-year-old Eli. Our design focused on creating a fun room for this little boy with a love of all things with wheels (and Ninja Turtles!). The carpet was replaced with durable luxury vinyl planks that mimic wood. A loft bed was added along with a race car bed so that the room can grow with Eli. We incorporated racing stripes along with racing decals. A closet system was added to help keep Eli organized.

Adventure, feathers and boho themed products come together beautifully to create a baby boy’s room different than your standard nursery. I was on a tight budget and most of the items where sourced second hand, handmade or relatively cheap. The 250 sq ft room features a colorful wall decals with wall hooks to hang his favorite items. The soft ivory color painted wooden banquette seating with a custom sky blue seat cushion is to extend the creativity of the room.
