Private Residence, Scottsdale, Arizona
This home, originally built in the 1980s, sported arctic white walls and white ceramic flooring. The interior design team, headed by John G Martin, created a totally new feel that is both Western and Asian in feel.
Low-voltage track lighting was used to highlight the various art and objects within the space. A pair of Balinese sconces flank the fireplace, offering a sculptural glow of illumination. Exterior landscape lighting keeps the tall windows from turning into black mirrors night.
