View through a bedroom doorway into a minimal Japanese style white bedroom.
On the far wall a low plywood shelf supports an elkhorn fern in a concrete planter, a blue Japanese tea bowl and a postcard.
In the foreground is a black and white geometric woven wool rug on a grey washed oak floor.
Sunlight falls onto a custom-made simple low plywood bed plinth dressed with crisp white bed linen.
The mood is zen and tranquil.

In this contemporary master bedroom, a corner window features to connect the space to the front garden. the three windows together respond to the slanted ceiling that itself follows the roofline.
The built-in joinery has been carefully designed by the architect to integrate perfectly with the space and the adjacent windows. Its modern style reflects that of the rest of the house and the dark oak veneer finish matches that in the nearby walk-in robe joinery.
Recessed art niches on the wall behind the bed provide spaces for feature photographs and artwork. to be highlighted.
Although the house is fully air conditioned, a ceiling fan helps to circulate air throughout the room

The bedside table is a simple, low, custom-made plywood box with a terrarium containing a bonsai ficus tree. Above hangs a small white opaque glass pendant light on a light grey fabric cord.
The bed is a simple, low, custom-made plywood plinth with an oblong, plywood headboard. The bed is dressed with crisp white bed linen.
A black and white geometric woven rug covers the grey washed oak floor.
To the side a partition creates a walk-in wardrobe behind the bed, screened by a white blind.
The mood is zen and tranquil.
