Cabinetry & Construction, Inc.A large master bedroom was added over the front of the house. To provide light but also make the addition look like it had been there all along, two large dormers were positioned on the front side of the house. This naturally created the perfect place for the homeowner’s new king size bed, a luxury he had not been able to afford in the old 900 square foot house with smaller rooms. Natural light was brought into all three areas of the suite through the use of windows on all four sides of the addition. The glass French doors that lead from the seating area into the master bedroom were salvaged from another place in the house. At the time of construction, they were found in the basement, unused and deteriorating.

V.E. THOMANEach corner of the room has wall upholstery installed with a clean edge system. This type of installation makes a simple and elegant finish to any room. The fabric is a plain green wool. A very nice contrast with the white painted molding.

A Jessica Charles swivel chair in a Stroheim fabric (no longer available) enables the person seated to enjoy the woodland view behind it, or look toward the artwork within the room. The Morris chair is an antique, but the footstool is a new piece from Stickley, in the Centennial finish, which is very compatible with the old ammonia fumed finishes of antique Stickley mission furniture.

Jessica MeisterThe spacing of the windows was just shy of fitting the California king bed we wanted in the Master Bedroom, so we had Rowe Station Woodworks in New Gloucester build a custom pallet headboard and frame to perfectly fit the space. We hired the incredible owners of My Sister's Garage in Windham to decorate the space with some fun vintage and re-purposed salvage elements for an awesome mix of old and new.

BJOID Inc.This comfy cozy bedroom combines the fresh colour scheme, with the authenticity of the warm rustic accents. The Opaline (SW6189) wall colour by Sherwin Williams is just a hint of mint, and the off-white furniture has a brown hand drag detail adding texture and depth. The furniture was custom built to spec, both design and finishes, and the antique brass hardware adds a retro and contemporary edge to the room. The drapes fall effortlessly behind the bed, and the bands of green fabric on the inside add a sense of true custom luxury.
The white custom bedding comfortably brings together textures and fabrics like linen, mohair and wool, and showcases the slight minty celadon green accent. Notice the cottagey paisley print on the accent pillow. With some earthy and feminine artwork, this bedroom is a complete oasis from the everyday.

Leedy InteriorsWe designed this bedroom for 2 young boys who absolutely love animals, who doesn't?! The boys needed a place to store their abundance of stuffed animals and custom open top storage bins were the perfect solution. The animal wire heads were a wonderful, fun alternative to art and pulled together the colors from the bedding. We balanced the hardness and weight of the wood in the room with fabric roman shades, soothing paint colors and an area rug. The area rug and window treatments also add subtle texture to the room.
