We created a series of outdoor rooms, privacy screens, and lush plantings all with an Asian-inspired design sense. Elements include a covered outdoor lounge room, sun decks, rock gardens, shade garden, evergreen plant screens, and raised boardwalk to connect the various outdoor spaces. The finished space feels like a true backyard oasis.

Casa Smith Designs, LLCWinter protection for pots. A question most people ask is what do they do with their pots in winter. If you have terracotta pots you need to make sure they are frost proof. Frost proof means that the clay used has been fired at a higher temperature and won't crack or freeze. Tender plants will need winter protection and some may need to be brought into a warm place but other plants are quite happy outside in pots as long as they are sheltered out of strong winds and frost. Cover with horticultural fleece for protection.
