Tiled Decks on a Carmel Home
A custom 18,000 square foot home in Tehama, a private golf course community has 18 decks of assorted sizes, all receiving tile.
Failure is not an option and so the general contractor hired us to provide and install a Mer-Kote tile deck waterproofing system with a mortar bed to all of the decks and 2 sets of curved stairs leading to the pool area.
Nearly 3 months of hard work was done, including installing copper flashings, a dual layer of waterproofing and a 1" reinforced mortar bed. Our work was then covered with beautiful tiles from Spain.
