Industrial Wohnzimmer ohne Kamin mit weißer Wandfarbe, hellem Holzboden und TV-Wand in New York
Studio Mônty
For this room we maximised the client's resources by updating the existing sofa and armchair with new cushions. We sourced a vintage armchair and Ercol coffee table, and repurposed a dresser from the guest bedroom, turning it in to a TV and media storage unit. The room was brought together with a new rug, plants, art and accessories,

The interior Great Room opens to a private below-grade porch on the east via an operable glass wall that frames the rear yard, existing tree trunks and dappled daylight. Harsh western sun is kindly baffled through a recessed light well and operable clerestory windows.

Simply Home Decorating
Our goal on this project was to make the main floor of this lovely early 20th century home in a popular Vancouver neighborhood work for a growing family of four. We opened up the space, both literally and aesthetically, with windows and skylights, an efficient layout, some carefully selected furniture pieces and a soft colour palette that lends a light and playful feel to the space. Our clients can hardly believe that their once small, dark, uncomfortable main floor has become a bright, functional and beautiful space where they can now comfortably host friends and hang out as a family.
