A big part of her process is offering the brain power and insight into getting a project started. This includes everything from design concepts to construction drawings and permits. Often, projects with the greatest constraints result in the most wonderful spaces. “Constraints” are the criteria- which include your construction budget, project timing, existing physical construction AND the dreams you have for your family. Lisa Stacholy is a Registered Architect in Georgia (#8297) and North Carolina (#12841), is a NCARB certificate holder (#46475), and is a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional (GBCI #10262357).

The project just finished it's planning stage and construction is about to begin in the end of December. LSK provided a great service, flat fee and a quick turnaround. it was comprise of two possible options and a final drawing. very happy.

Lisa With LKS Architects is a blessing to work with. I am a General Contractor in the Metro Atlanta area and she is one of the best Architects to complete a renovation with. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the client is happy. On call whenever needed and alwys wanting to make sure the job is completed on time and in budget. Lisa is wonderful to work with and has great ideas and a knack for tailoring the work to what the client is looking for. She was able to make suggestions to meet our needs and budget come together. Unfortunately a fire right before the construction was to begin halted the process. No worries as she reconfigured the design to maximize the renovation based on the fire and now we have more than originally planned. As with good architects in today's environment, be sure to plan for sufficient time in plan completion since the process is lengthy to arrive at what you desire. While the project is still ongoing with the builder, the layout of the reconstruction is better that we could have ever imagined. Our original budget was around $250,000 and got a "soft" estimate from a contractor for over $350,000 prior to working with Lisa. Our final contract (pre-fire) after working with Lisa was just under $240,000 and we were able to accomplish everything we were looking for. Shout-out to Frye-Moore Construction as they also had a huge hand in getting the budget under control with excellent construction ideas. Will update this with photos upon completion.

Lisa listened to our vision and needs for our kitchen renovation, asked thoughtful and astute questions and created plans that yielded a kitchen that is just what we'd hoped for. A year later, I can confirm it continues to be beautiful and work very well.

Lisa did a great job helping us figure out what we wanted to do with our house renovation plans. She carefully considered our needs and came up with some really creative solutions to our issues with space and layout. She is very multifaceted and has a very keen sense of how to make it all work.

Lisa of LKS Architects is an excellent architect and designer. She is very thorough and detail oriented in thinking of how a space will function. She is easy to get a hold of and works on projects in an efficient manner. From concept to construction drawings, she if very methodical in how she approaches the process. She is also very familiar with the City of Atlanta and its inherent nuances of permitting. I highly recommend working with Lisa.

LKS Architects, Inc. did the design for a major renovation we had done on our home in 2004. The scope of the project was a design for a master bedroom suite, master bath renovation, walkway to a screened porch with a utility room beneath. She listened to what we wanted out of the project and gave us several options to choose from for the job. The design was very creative use of space and was delivered in a timely manner. I would recommend LKS Architects Inc. for any renovation projects - large or small.
