We wanted to retain the traditional feel of the house and the original features where possible but we also wanted to create modern living spaces, particularly in our kitchen/basement. The team at Amberth listened to our ideas and the designer visited the property we were living in at the time to get a good feel for our style and how we use space. They created a design, which really focused on maximising the use of the space available, and it’s livability, but didn’t compromise on style. The designer worked with us to create concepts for every room; they really do leave no stone unturned and they get on with things, addressing any issues they come across methodically and efficiently. They take pride in their work and the quality of finishes of our tiled floors, cornices, and restored living room doors and shutters is of the highest standard. “I asked LBI to completely renovate my two bed garden flat in Highbury / Canonbury area. Job involved complete gut, rewire and plumb, removal of some load-bearing walls, and a full refurb. We went with Jake because he was respectful and provided a comprehensive quote and project plan that gave us transparency and confidence he’d properly considered the job and the work involved. He also shared the risks up front. He and his team completed the work bang on schedule (vital as my wife was ‘full term’ pregnant!), and to a great standard. His team was courteous and efficient and when we had concerns - e.g. with placement of a wall or a socket - Jake was always very responsive. This was a big job, a difficult job given the timing (impending baby), but also a fulfilling job (a complete refit). It was stressful (because building always is and because of the timing...), but Jake and his team took a lot of the unnecessary stress away because of their skill and attitude, and left us with a wonderful nest. “Having been let down by another contractor 2 days before refurbishment work on my 3 bathrooms was due to start, I posted the requirement online and Tom from TC Wetrooms made contact within 30 minutes. He was able to meet me at my house that evening after work to see what was required and then sent across the quote later that night with a start date the following Monday. TC Wetrooms did a great job. Their focus is very much geared towards high quality delivery as opposed to just getting the job down however possible. Tom is a bright, personable guy who communicates well and operates in a professional manner. He provided sound advice where needed and displayed a flexible approach. Also Tom and the guys left the house tidy at the end of each day and demonstrated good timekeeping. The work was completed on time and the bathrooms look great. I would have no hesitation whatsover in recommending TC Wetrooms.”
