“We hired Curbz to totally redo our backyard (new deck, fences, patio stones, hot tub, pergola, artificial turf, etc.) after reading all the great reviews the company got on the Homestars website and getting a glowing reference from a friend. We can't say enough good things about Ian and his crew. Ian always arrived for meetings with us exactly when he said he would. He and his designer made great suggestions and helped us tweak our original plan to make our yard even better than we hoped. His crew work unbelievably hard and were very respectful of the fact we have young kids around. They always left the job site neat and tidy at the end of the day. They were wonderful in dealing with our neighbours, as well. Ian came by once or twice a day to make sure all was well with the project. The guys were all easygoing about any changes we wanted as the project progressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and his Curbz staff to anyone.”

“We’ve hired Action Home Services to fix the eroding slop in our backyard. Our beautiful backyard slope was washing down water onto the patio with every rain. It was only a matter of time before the whole hill came tumbling down. Our close friend suggested Action Home Services to help us and we are extremely satisfied, the problem disappeared. They used layered plantings of deep- and shallow-rooted trees, shrubs and ground covers to prevent water runoff. Also they redecorate the slope with boulders and stone retaining walls to gradually flatten the incline and slow drainage. Eventually, our backyard looks much better and does not threaten the patio. Highly recommend!”

“We hired Land-Con last year to replace the interlock in our backyard and front porch. They completed the project extremely quickly and efficiently and the product looked great. The workers were great. They were knowledgable, courteous and extremely friendly. They even had patience for the kids who kept coming by and asking questions. The biggest surprise actually came this year when some weeds started sprouting in between the interlock. We contacted Land-Con expecting the usual attitude and service you receive from most home contractors. We were pleasantly surprised that none of that occurred. They send someone immediately to resolve the problem and didn't charge us anything for it. We would definitely use Land-Con again for any landscaping or interlock project in the future.”
