“We have had the pleasure of working with Bruce Herbst on two projects. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants and had excellent ideas for us. He listened intently to us as we partnered to create a yard that we would enjoy. I have called him on more than one occasion to complement him on the plants he chose as well as the layout. We love our landscaping!! As spring rolls into summer, a variety of plants bloom and create new interest. When we have had questions (perhaps about the health of a particular plant), we know we can call Bruce and that he will get a timely and informative reply. “Nathan and Josh helped us make the most creative and beautiful landscape using boulders to retain our hillside, trees, grasses and flowers. They were able to imagine and execute a difficult high retaining wall and steep steps. Their whole plan was never compromised because it was too much work or too difficult. Josh created a beautiful railing that just completes it all. Every day, all summer neighbors would stop and say that they loved it.”

“L&R did an outstanding job on a major landscaping project in our backyard. They had to excavate the land, build a retaining wall, install a fire pit, build a very large deck with custom bench seating, install natural stone steppers, and install privacy trees and landscape plants. Their execution was flawless from beginning to end. They provided excellent customer service and they truly care about making their customers happy. We used them to design and build our outdoor living space and we couldn't be happier. Our backyard went from being a dump to a "vacation resort". We look forward to working with them again as they are an honest business with high integrity.”
