“This is the second home system I've hired Capitol to design and install for me. Dustin and the team have been nothing short of excellent on both my lake house and primary home installs. After getting 3 estimates for my lake house project, I went with Capitol over one higher proposal and one that was lower. While I was tempted to choose the lowest bid, Dustin pointed out some gaps in the other company's system design which would have resulted in less functionality than what they had promised. I'm not a tech guru so had Dustin not pointed out these design deficiencies to me, I could have gotten myself into a situation where I thought I was going with the lowest bid, only to find out later that the price was increasing substantially to achieve the result I thought I was getting in the first place! The guys cleaned up after themselves and were courteous and respectful of my home - which of course pleased my wife who was at home for most of the installation. They answered all of our questions and even showed my kids how to use the cool new audio, video, and lighting control systems. Much thanks to Dustin, Kris, Terry and the rest of the team!”

“I can't recommend Craig more. He's super competent and passionate about technology. He's installed a 4K projector and a 120" screen in my house. I wasn't happy about the screen so he replaced with another one. Seriously, they have done a perfect job for the best price I found after calling 7 other companies. He took care of everything. My wife is pretty obsessed with details (no wires whatsoever, color matching of covers for sockets, etc - sorry Craig!), and Craig's team was able to accomplish everything. If you live around Austin this is the best crew to hire from simple TV mounting to more complicated jobs like an entire home theatre room. Thanks, Craig.”

“Peter, Matt, and his whole team have been fantastic to work with. We bought a home that was under a year old, and found out that Peter and his team had spec'ed out the wiring with the custom builder. The prior owners hadn't owned the home long enough to carry out their plans, so we inherited a massive bundle of raw wires and not much more. So far we've worked with Peter and his team on two projects : 1/ to setup the network closet (with a rack, patch panels, switch, etc.) 2/ installing a wall-mount Samsung Frame TV and Sonos Playbar+SUB in our living room, along with a universal remote In both cases they did a very thorough, high-end job, using great equipment, utmost care for our home, and gave us a great walkthrough of the work they'd done afterward. Moreover, instead of just selling a project, they've worked with us to understand our longer-term objectives so we're doing things in a 'future proof' way that will accommodate future projects. We plan to continue working with Peter and the Smarter Homes team to build out our smart home vision. So far so great!”
