“Over lockdown I found myself growing very tired of the decor and furniture in my lounge. Myself and my three girls spend a lot of time in there particularly on an evening. With it being a Victorian terrace it already had beautiful original features in there but was looking very tired and lifeless. I decided to get in touch with Clare fir some inspiration and after our consultation felt very excited and inspired. She made me realise I didn’t need a huge amount to completely transform the space into the cosy room I longed for. I knew I wanted to go for dark walls but had no idea how to then furnish and accessorise. Clare did a full room design, helped and advised me with all of that and WOW the result is amazing, I absolutely love it. It’s made such a difference to my home. So much so I decided to invite Clare back to advise me on my bedroom. I had already painted the walls and bought a rug but needed help with styling. Clare sent me a shopping list of furniture and accessories to help. Again, she completely transformed the feel of the room, bringing it all together. “We found Chic on the Internet & were allocated Emma as our designer. We hit it off with her straight away & she quickly learnt how to work alongside us. She was very patient & professional & drew on our home & garden to come up with a design suitable for us. She had some good contacts & came up with some good prices for our lounge/staircase/landing project. We had a few blips, mainly with damaged goods arriving via on line buying. We found the ordering & returning of damaged goods the worst part of the whole project. In the main the workforce she employed were very good & although the whole project seemed to take a long time, we are highly satisfied with the end result.”

“Katie helped us right from when our extension was at the planning stage she tweaked the plans just looking at them on paper she had a vision. Katie has designed all aspects of our home bathrooms kitchens joinery from build to the finest detail when we couldn’t visualise them she provided us with detailed drawings and one for each trade joinery plans paint plans NOTHING was left to chance. Katie knows what will work functionality wise and we are so glad we had her to help with this aspect we avoided a few disasters that our architects missed!! Katie has helped us choose things we would never have been brave enough to try or ever could have imagined whilst still keeping what we liked in mind thanks to her we have our dream home. Her e-design document contained detailed options for floor layouts and Tessy had some wonderful ideas that we would never have have thought of. Throughout the project Tessy was extremely professional, friendly and enthusiastic and explained all her design choices in detail. We also felt that Tessy really took the time to understand our needs and never pushed her style choices on us. We would highly recommend Tessy to anyone, and we're already planning to use Tessy again for our kitchen extension next year. Also worth noting is that Tessy passed on her trade discounts to us, so that offset some of the design costs.”
