Ceiling Paint - color or not to color

We have refinished the floors dark walnut. We are about to paint the downstairs Sherwin Williams, "amazing gray". The trim in the whole house is off-white. Most ceilings are about 13 ft. There is a coffer ceiling in the great room. It's currently a color. (before pic attached). If we paint the inside of coffer amazing gray, do we need to carry it through the house? Or should we paint the coffer white since we want to paint the other ceilings - ceiling white?
