Hardwood floor wood colors

I just purchased this home and needed some ideas for my hardwood floors. I'm not crazy about the wood tones that are currently in the home(lighter stained) I am looking for something more rustic and esspresso in color. My question is, can i put this type of darker stain down on hardwood floors when I replace the carpet? Will this clash? Will I have to update all the light colored wood?(Door, Door Trim, Mantle, Stair Rail, and Cabinets) I do plan on getting new cabinets in the near future.

vor 6 JahrenMy house is similar! I kept my doors and kitchen cans the color yours are, installed espresso bamboo floors, beefed up my baseboards/trim to wider white boards. The walls are kilim beige because it's warm but not yellow.

Kommentare (8)Dem kann ich mich nur voll und ganz anschließen, daher noch 2-3 Sätze als Hintergrundwissen zum Thema Öl: Bei Ölen ist die Aushärtung besonders wichtig. Dadurch erhält der Holzboden die eigentliche widerstandsfähige Oberfläche. In der Dose oder Kanister ist das Öl noch flüssig, es dringt dadurch gut in tiefere Holzschichten ein und beginnt anschließend auszuhärten. Jetzt gibt es unterschiedliche Anbieter welche als Lösemittel eher die günstigen und gesundheitlichbedenklicheren Komponenten verwenden, diejenigen die nur natürliche Stoffe verwenden und die Profis mit hochwertigen kostenintensiven sysnthetischen Komponenten. Was mich besonders gewundert hat ist, dass bei den natürlichen Komponeten die die Konzentrationen so hoch dosiert sind, dass Allergiker dadurch immense Probleme erhalten. Aber auch z.B. Ekzeme dadurch zum Vorschein kommen! Bei sysnthetischen Komponenten verflüchtigen sich die Stoffe innerhalb von Minuten und sind anschließend nicht mehr nachweisbar, beim Verarbeiten dementsprechend immer gut lüften!! NIEEEEE sollte man Öle für den Aussenbereich im Innenbereich verwenden. Da wir bereits in der Praxis erlebt haben, das Bauherrn ihr Garten- oder Terrassenöl für den Innenraum verwendet haben, weil es der "Baumarkt oder Fachmann" empfohlen hat. Kommentare (6)Since you are not allowed to paint the ceiling, it should be the only wooden surface in the room. The floor can be covered by either wall-to-wall carpet or a large rug, but please check if a door that opens into the room will still be operable. Multi-use and visually light furniture is important in such a tight space. I would replace the bunk bed (you're too grown-up anyway) with a nice sleeper sofa like, for instance, Flottebo. And I'd buy a comfy chair that can be used for reading and as a desk chair. It should be unobtrusive and easy to move like this feminine rattan chair. If you don't need a desk on a daily basis, I'd recommend a height-adjustable notebook table (on casters) that can double as a side table next to the sofa/ bed. Again, multi-use is the key. Once you've chosen new furniture, you can decide on curtains, rug/ carpet and other decorative elements. Wall colors are usually the last decision because you can have millions of hues individually mixed. Kommentare (4)Hey, i will go for black and white furniture. In every room, i will choose different colors for decoration (vases, paintings, pillows etc. ). For example livingroom with purple decoration, bedroom with turquoise decoration etc. I love special items such as mosaic tables ( for example https://www.lionshome.at/moebel-gartentische/mosaik/ ) in homes. In Asien countries one often finds furniture with a lot of chrachter in homes. I think they build the depth of a home. Furthermore, plants are amazing! I think they will bring a lot of positivity in your home....mehrHelp me decide!!
Kommentare (4)I also think it depends on how much light gets in so that the place doesn't get too dark. With the dark floor I would probably go for white, as it's a nice contrast and will make the space feel less 'heavy'....mehr
