Mindful Home Coaching
With minimal preparation, we were able to completely transform and improve our client's home in only four hours. The only items she purchased in order to re-vamp her entire condo, were a couple of throw pillows, a few lamps, some plants, and a handful of art pieces she found at thrift stores the previous month. The total cost for these items was under $200.

On our new series for ellentube, we are focused on creating affordable spaces in a short time ($1,000 budget & 24 hrs). This small Master bedroom needed stage for the owners plants and a feature wall that put them on display. We custom built this headboard to the ceiling for only $50!

Completed in 2017, this project features midcentury modern interiors with copper, geometric, and moody accents. The design was driven by the client's attraction to a grey, copper, brass, and navy palette, which is featured in three different wallpapers throughout the home. As such, the townhouse incorporates the homeowner's love of angular lines, copper, and marble finishes. The builder-specified kitchen underwent a makeover to incorporate copper lighting fixtures, reclaimed wood island, and modern hardware. In the master bedroom, the wallpaper behind the bed achieves a moody and masculine atmosphere in this elegant "boutique-hotel-like" room. The children's room is a combination of midcentury modern furniture with repetitive robot motifs that the entire family loves. Like in children's space, our goal was to make the home both fun, modern, and timeless for the family to grow into. This project has been featured in Austin Home Magazine, Resource 2018 Issue.

We couldn't help ourselves with all these yummy textures in such a compact space - woven wall covering, leather dresser, polished brass.

Phillip Jeffries "Blocks" wallpaper is the perfect backdrop for these set-of-six acrylic and guilded contemporary wall art pieces. The artwork above the low profile upholstered bed is original (from State of The Arts Art Gallery, Sarasota, FL); bedding is by Eastern Accents.

This San Francisco home had beautifully restored interior details, including curved window walls, wood wainscoting, and an arched fireplace. We furnished it with a blend of modern and traditional pieces to express the minimal and laid-back feel desired by our clients.

A moveable wall divides the oversized primary bedroom, creating a bedroom with sleeping for four for overnights with the grandkids. A dropdown desk provides a workspace and folds neatly out of the way when space is needed; cabinets above the futons offer storage space. A king-size bed, two night tables and a dresser fit comfortably into the main space. Wall fabric behind the bed adds a touch of drama, and small bedside sconces provide personal light for nighttime reading.

This small bedroom allows for a double size bed, and with that, we mounted articulating wall sconces behind the headboard for reading. With no room for bedside table, we placed a mini desk and stool at the window, the round wall mirror to make the room seem larger. We love the brass detail in this design! "Sensuous grey" paint from Sherwin Williams, floating night stands and lights from Ikea, orange blanket from CB2, Hockney poster from Getty museum.
All the work here was in the bed. I wanted a floating bed; after finding nothing for less than $ 6K, I ended up designing it myself. It is inspired by the Fluttua bed by Lago. All the pieces are in pure aluminium, one main frame attached to the back wall using a ledger and resting on a single leg in the middle of the bed, and 2 plates resting on it. I purchased the raw material from an aluminium factory and sent my CAD files to a laser cutter. I had the pieces carried to a welder who put together the main frame and painted the whole thing black. Total cost: less than $ 1,000.
The headboard I made myself, using a particle board, 2 kinds of foam and Knoll cloth. It is attached to the wall with professional-grade velcro.
