View into kitchen from pass-through. Original kitchen was outdated and crowded. By streamlining and organizing the appliances into zones we were able to make a narrow kitchen function beautifully. Keeping the cabinet doors simple but with interest in the grain of the wood or stain gives it depth and richness without being too intricate. By making the upper cabinets white and holding them 12” to 18” from the ceiling the effect is that of lightness and openness.
