This show stopping, glass enclosed custom wine cellar design, created by Vintage Cellars of San Diego, California, truly proves that any space within a home can be converted into a fantastic, usable wine storage space. Wine Rooms such as this often require an oversized wine storage cooling unit or cooling system due to the large glass wall. Glass, unless dual paned, is notorious for heat and humidity transfers.
Making certain that the wine cellar is fully enclosed, fully encapsulated, fully sealed on every surface is essential. Proper Vapor Barrier and Insulation in the skeleton of the wine cellar is going to ensure the best cooling, humidity, and wine storing capabilities. Additionally, improper room set up may result in mold and mildew.
This small wine cellar really embraces the "showpiece" aspect custom wine rooms often have. In addition to providing double deep individual racking, the wine closet design also uses diamond bins and double deep, quarter round display cabinet, and a magnificent custom stained and etched European style wine cabinet.

ballonSTUDIO interiors & remodelingOur San Francisco studio designed this beautiful four-story home for a young newlywed couple to create a warm, welcoming haven for entertaining family and friends. In the living spaces, we chose a beautiful neutral palette with light beige and added comfortable furnishings in soft materials. The kitchen is designed to look elegant and functional, and the breakfast nook with beautiful rust-toned chairs adds a pop of fun, breaking the neutrality of the space. In the game room, we added a gorgeous fireplace which creates a stunning focal point, and the elegant furniture provides a classy appeal. On the second floor, we went with elegant, sophisticated decor for the couple's bedroom and a charming, playful vibe in the baby's room. The third floor has a sky lounge and wine bar, where hospitality-grade, stylish furniture provides the perfect ambiance to host a fun party night with friends. In the basement, we designed a stunning wine cellar with glass walls and concealed lights which create a beautiful aura in the space. The outdoor garden got a putting green making it a fun space to share with friends.

Hochuli Design & Remodeling TeamAn used closet under the stairs is transformed into a beautiful and functional chilled wine cellar with a new wrought iron railing for the stairs to tie it all together. Travertine slabs replace carpet on the stairs.
LED lights are installed in the wine cellar for additional ambient lighting that gives the room a soft glow in the evening.
