Verdance Landscape ArchitectureContrasts of color and texture bring this side yard to life, as a stepping-stone path immersed in silver Dymondia winds through selections of Berberis 'Orange Rocket', Anemone 'September Charm', Miscanthus 'Morning Light', dark purple Heuchera 'Amethyst Mist', and yellow-variegated 'Butterfly' Japanese Maple. Urban Oasis Landscape DesignSculptural agaves, succulents and California native plants punctuate the front landscape complementing the “arroyo seco” rain garden studded with boulders and branches. The rain garden catches 50% of the stormwater runoff from the roof and infiltrates it into the soil. The remaining 50% of the runoff goes to a second rain garden in the back yard.
Shambhala LandscapesThis classic San Francisco backyard was transformed into an inviting and usable outdoor living space. A few steps down lead to a lounging area, featuring drought-friendly and maintenance-free artificial grass as well as a cozy, custom-built natural gas fire pit surrounded by a Redwood bench.
Redwood fencing, low-voltage LED landscape lighting, drip irrigation, planting and a water feature completed the space.
