“I hired Caruana for the first time in 2010 for a basement reno and build out a legal suite. Neville and his team were professional, knowledgeable at navigating through city red tape, and focused on quality workmanship. Since I do not live in the same city as my properties, it was re-assuring to have a pro like Neville who was in constant communication with me on the progress and even sending photos along the way. I have since utilized Caruana's services on quite a number of projects, small and larger, including a major reno/repair job on a property acquired in 2014. While you can find a smaller contractor or handyman at lower prices, having done so my self a few times in the last few years, I have learned that you really do get what you pay for. WIth lower priced bidders I learned that quality is often compromised and communication (an important one for me) is lost, and if there is something I have been unsatisfied with I've had to chase down these 'handymen' to fix it, still not to my satisfaction. Neville stands behind his work and if I pointed anything out he typically had his team right on it. Caruana has remained my contractor of choice and I would recommend them to anyone one looking for a quality job with fewer headaches.”

“We have used Four Elements for 2 renovation projects now at 2 different homes and would certainly recommend the company for small to large projects. The first was a basement finishing project in 2014 - we started with an unfinished basement and roughed in plumbing in a 2003 home with Four Elements coordinating all trades to frame/drywall/paint/carpentry/electrical/plumbing/installation of carpet and tile. Our project was estimated to take 3 months and was completed within that time frame. We were minimally above budget (I believe it was a couple thousand on 30+) and was in part due to changes that we made as the project went along. The finishing quality was excellent and we were very happy with the completed space (family room, bathroom and small laundry room). Peter (owner) made several excellent recommendations along the way such as the type of lighting to use and was responsive to our comments/suggestions throughout the build. Our second project has just recently concluded and was significantly more complex as it was upgrades/renos throughout a 1960's home on all levels. We installed new exterior doors/window, moved a wall, created a pass thru, painted, installed new flooring, countertops, lighting in the basement, insulation, electrical, and furnace upgrades to name a few. Again, this project was completed on time and very close to our original budget (48+) and was completed within the 2 month time frame Peter estimated. We are very happy with the end results and did not consider using anyone other than Peter and Four Elements for this project based on how well our first experience went.”
