I interviewed several home improvement companies in the northern Virginia area; none matched the knowledge of product information and costs of construction for completely renovating my kitchen. Architectural renditions were exact to specifications;no last-minute changes had to be made. Prior to the beginning of the renovation, costs and date of completion was discussed along with a time line dedicated to the selection of cabinets, floor, tiles, lighting fixtures etc. The crew assigned to my project were courteous, quick, clean and put materials away each day. “I hired FA Design Build to update our kitchen with new granite countertops, new sink, new faucet, and to install new appliances. We also needed a contractor (FA Design Build) to remove an existing "eat bar" so that we could have a granite island in lieu of a raised eat-bar, so there was some work that could not have been done by just a granite installer. The team was seamless and we knew who would call us and when to schedule each step of the project. They worked with us in our tight schedule to get the project moving quickly. The drywall repair after removing the eat-bar was the best we've ever seen (and we've had prior work done). When the fridge we ordered was too big for our space, we did a change order to have the company raise one of our existing cabinets, which they did the day after the project was otherwise complete. Very prompt, reasonable, and the entire team was responsive. We would hire them again.”
