From the HOA process to numerous follow ups my project manager stayed on top of the process. Once I had approval they broke ground with precise attention to detail. I had an all season type of project with some rainy days but the attention to cleanliness did not go unnoticed. “We hired Landscape Pros for our backyard landscaping project. It included installing paver stones, artificial turf, planting trees and irrigation for the trees. They very quickly removed the existing concrete and prepared the land for installing pavers. They planned the job well and there were no hiccups later. We worked with Nop for this project and he was especially helpful throughout the process. He made frequent visits during design phase to explain all the possible options, provide quotes and suggest alternatives. He also made sure to answer all the questions along the way and considered all our requests. He is also available even after the project is complete to make sure we do not run into any issues. “We had a wonderful experience working with Carlos. He redid an outdoor kitchen that was built by another contractor that wasn't to code, and was falling apart. Carlos, added an arbor, sink, gadgets burner, access door, lighting, and new stone counter tops. He manages to build the arbor without destroying our Saltillo patio floors. Other contractors wanted to put posts in odd places, and break into the existing patio in a visible location. Carlos is knowledgeable and creative. He also took out our old cracked tiled walkway and put brick. Replaced old lighting and sprinklers.We have come to rely on Carlos for all of our landscaping needs, whether, big or small. He stands by his work. If you have any issues he will address them in a timely manner, and he finishes his work in a timely, clean manner.”

“Ernesto Ramirez of Sunscape Gardens Design, (ejrsunscapes@gmail.com, 650-465-4131 ), was one of two contractors who bid on a number of intermediate designs we had through several iterations of finalizing what we finally had built. His company has been working on the San Francisco Peninsula for over 25 years. We did not want to have several independent contractors, but wanted a single contact point. The plans were drawn by Dirk Moyer (dirk@jennabayer.com) Ernesto laid out the garden walls, French drains, patterned two tone pavers, built a fire pit and sitting area, steps to connect terraces, lights under each step and all the details needed without disturbing the fairly extensive existing plantings. The workers were thoughtful, polite, worked every day (rain or shine), minimized dust and disruptions, cleaned up, and watered existing plants before they left. As they progressed through the job Ernesto was onsite each morning and was always available to discuss plans and questions to be answered. The entire crew got along very well, they were neat and orderly and they arrived and left at the same time daily. Ernesto made sure to explain what was happening and what was going to be next, when there were questions he worked seamlessly with Dirk to get resolution on changes and plans. There were two of the original modifications that we agreed to modify - in both cases Ernesto made the bid for the changes clearly and in writing and in the context of the entire job. We knew what was going to happen and when it would be finished. With the adjustment for the changes, the job started and finished on time and exactly on budget. It did cost more than we originally planned, but there were no surprises.”
