“Owner Cathie Tritel is very knowledgeable of plant, flower and tree placement in relation to sunrise/sunset orientation of homeowner's yard. Her project drawings are extremely detailed, leaving no room for speculation by the landscape contractor she selects. She also is exceptionally good at balancing design and color of all hardscape elements like Roman stamped concrete, seatwall, raised garden, flower pots, lighting, etc. with shrub, trees and flower placements. Result for us was a well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing yard. She also is good at keeping the landscape contractor on schedule and ensuring all work meets her high quality standards. She even took the time to teach us yard care basics like pruning and proper watering. We are extremely glad we selected Bluestar to do our backyard makeover! Even though it's winter, flowers are blooming now!”

Works to understand priorities and needs; listens to suggestions. My property is about one acre. Executive Care has done reasonably extensive re-landscaping to four areas. Total cost ~$70K over three years, 2016-2018. I now use them for annual maintenance. Highly recommend!”

“Sophie has an excellent eye and knows how to make a yard look not only beautiful but pulled together. When I came to her for a design for our backyard to go with our new pool, I had a lot of ideas. Probably too many. In fact, I'm sure it was too many. Hey, I know what I want. Sophie listened to me and incorporated my ideas into the final design so that it feels like it was my idea--only better. I don't know anything about plants or what will grow where, but that didn't matter because I had Sophie right there. Every plant type, ground cover and even placement of future hardscape features was well thought out. The yard is now inviting and the whole family enjoys spending time there. It's also a really nice backdrop out our kitchen window for days when we only get to look at it instead of hanging out there! Maybe that's the highest compliment a designer can get--when it's all done, it is more than what I expected. “Bright Home Landscapes installed a new paver pool deck for us and they were a joy to work with. They did an excellent job of communicating with us during the process and completed all work when promised. The pool deck they installed is beautiful, a big upgrade from the cracked concrete deck it replaced. Both their customer service and their workmanship were A-1. And they stand behind their work: when a small section of polymeric sand shifted after installation, they returned to fill the resulting gaps immediately. I was impressed with all of their staff, from salesman to workmen and supervisor, but especially enjoyed working with Anastasia. She is incredibly upbeat and competent. I would definitely consider them for future projects.”

“We recently had a landscape project completed by this company. We initially had some concerns about the end result. The owner of the company personally came to the job site and made clear that he wanted us to have a five star experience. He brought the crew back and they went above and beyond to make sure we were fully satisfied with our final product. And we are! We now have a beautiful result. The owner also extended the warranty of our plants and trees and told us to call him personally if there are any problems in the future. I was very impressed with the customer service we experienced. He definitely wanted to make sure we ended up happy, even if it meant an entire additional day of work for his crew. That type of service seems like a rare thing these days, and it is greatly appreciated!”
