Was anyone able to find where the floating shelf could be purchased?

    This shelf can be custom built by your carpenter and attached to wall with several "L" brackets. It appears heavier than it is because underneath is actually hollow. The wood box could just be 3 sided. It appears to be approx. 10" deep and 9" tall. However, you can do any size. Do a mock up on your own wall with cardboard. Call out wood species to your carpenter and ask for scraps of wood so painter can do handful of stain samples prior to actually stain unit. You can also have painter distress would if you the worn look. Good luck.

      The floating shelf was a custom design built by the cabinet maker on site. The floor is 16x24 travertine from Arizona Tile

      Both were custom, made by the general contractor. He'd be happy to do a whole project for you, but probably not just a shelf or a door.
