Bisou Upholstered French Chair
A charming French antique style bedroom chair named after the French word for 'kiss', our Bisou French chair exudes effortlessly classic and laid-back French style; it reminds us of a vintage find from the Porte de Vanves antique market in Paris.
The wooden frame is heavily antiqued and distressed with layers of paint. A charcoal patina has been stripped back to reveal layers of the grey and white undercoat paint and the wood grain beneath. Slim tapered legs with a fluted pattern create a clean silhouette.
The fawn brown upholstery is a considered combination of 40% linen and 60% cotton. Upholstered on both the front and the back of the seat and also on the removable cushion pad, which is filled with a 50-50 duck feather and polyester fibre for the perfect combination of comfort with a touch of bounce. The upholstery is trimmed with a row of double piping which is hand-tacked with simple metal nails. The seat cushion is fixed in place with hand ties.
