Passive Solar House in the Chilterns
July 2016 - The dwelling is reaching the phase in construction where it becomes watertight, following the installation of triple glazed composite timber and aluminium framed windows and sliding folding doors. The 14 panel 4kW photovoltaic solar panel system harvests solar gain to convert into electricity, that are complimented by a two panel hot water harvesting panel system facing south to maximise the solar gain for this "Passivehaus" designed bespoke dwelling - Photo by Stephen N Samuel RIBA
