I love the fact that the kitchen cabinets go all the way to the ceiling giving more space for storage and the quality of the cabinets it top of the line. “My present home in Carmel, NY is the 8th restoration which I have undertaken--7 of which were historic dwellings, from as early as 1720 and 1740--that included outbuildings as well. The restoration of this c. 1920 cottage was accomplished with the expertise and professionalism of Mr Constantino and the competent sub-contractors which he engaged. Mr Constantino's superb skills as a finish carpenter, tile setter and mason, as well as his innate good taste and technical expertise have produced wonderful results. The project included the almost total re-building of the main house: entry, living room, office-library, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths; the fireplace chimney required an interior reconstruction; the large open porch has become a delightful 3-season room; and the separate garage was insulated, sheet-rocked, painted. In addition. It was evident that all of the sub-contractors hold this contractor and his associates in the highest regard. In addition, at the end of each work-day, the job-site was left in mint condition. It would be a privilege to recommend RoSal as an experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and ethical contractor.”

Thanks to the very good quality materials and fixtures and appliances we purchased with guidance from M&R, especially the KIngswood cabinets, combined with the craftsmanship of M&R's team of a plumber, carpenter, electrician and tile installer, we were really, really happy with the refurbishments. Our home looks so much better than it did before. We wouldn't hesitate to use M&R again. In a world with not so trustworthy contractors, it's good to have one we can trust.”

“Dave Callas is the owner of the company and was great to work with from day one. HV Renovations was recommended by my mortgage broker. We were buying a new home and wanted to put in a new kitchen, remove some walls and relocate a sliding glass door and a couple windows. We financed the project through a renovation loan with Wells Fargo and we were at the 11th hour in terms of getting our plans to Wells and we just weren't happy with the pricing and relationship we had with the contractor we had been working with. We called HV Reno and Dave came out right away and gave us a much better quote. Dave's experience with major renovations helped him identify if the walls were load bearing and the costs associated with relocating baseboard heat, plumbing and electric. He has a network of specialists like plumbers and electricians that allow him to quote a job accurately. HV Renos work was quick, clean and high quality. They were very fair and easy to work with on change orders. Excellent communication and easy to get in touch with. Dave also has a lot of experience with Renovation loans and made that process very easy for us. I can't tell you how important that is because when you're dealing with banks and draws on construction loans, you need a guy who has enough capital to keep his guys working while he works out any issues the bank might have releasing the draw. I would highly recommend HV Renovations and Dave Callas to anyone.”
