Her taste is exquisite and she has a keen eye for how to create fabulous shades that transform a "good" lamp into a fabulous decorative accessory. Susan can rewire your old lamp and will transform ordinary objects into fabulous sconces or table lighting, always topped with a unique and stunning finial. Her taste, responsiveness and client centered expertise make her the go-to-source for designers and consumers " in the know". Also a great source for decorative home accessories and gifts, Shandell's is a must stop resource when you're in the Berkshires or Litchfield County.”

All of her pieces have a timeless "Tiffany" feel, yet they are also wholly unique, with a warmth and an attention to color and detail that set them apart. “We have collaborated with Ken on a 12,000 square foot high-end traditional residence in Connecticut and a contemporary Pool House. On both projects, Ken devised innovative, sophisticated lighting solutions which highlighted the architecture and created warm, inviting spaces. Ken is a pleasure to work with and very quickly arrives at the best solutions. His documentation is excellent. We recommend him highly!”
