“Quality Potlights, is a high standard company, top quality electricians, our company only stands by using Moe, Mike, and there crew.. whether its to install potlighting for our clients, or working with our crew and trades for a basement renovation, there is no doubt in our mind who to call, on time on schedule within estimated budget .. unless we find like we had on one project the wiring was way outdated and we had to rewire the place, other then those un expected surprises neither of us can tell prior to they do not give surprises and they work well with our team , and they sit down and hack things out with me to figure out whats next if either of us have any questions.. we found them about 2 years ago now and have not turned back anything electrical they are the only ones we call now...”

“After educating ourselves and learning that copper is better... We wanted every piece of aluminum wiring removed from our home. After doing our research and having several companies come out to look over the work to be done, our choice was easy. HOTWIRE. Oris came out for the original inspection, he explained what needed to be done to have the entire house rewired and noted other shortcomings of the previous owners. Oris was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable and explained everything in a way we could easily understand. The quote came in and HotWire was hired. Most of our communication was with Hanna who answered most of my questions after the initial visit and again, very helpful. Both Oris and Hanna are very good at answering email and getting back to us by phone which is a rare find. The work was started very quickly and soon we had holes and wires all over the place. The crew that came in were an great bunch of guys. Adam was very helpful, explained what they were doing as it was being done and answered every question without any signs of frustration. Along with Adam came Alex, Alex and James. These guys removed baseboards, reached up through pot light holes and climbed through the attic to minimize the amount of holes needed to be cut to feed the new wire. This job took about a week and each day they cleaned up behind themselves for a clean start the next morning. Not only is the house completely rewired, but they installed new smoke detectors on each floor, replaced any receptacles where required and added AFCI breakers for the bedrooms to ensure the home was brought to code. We also had them replace our old pot lights in the basement with a set of new, modern lights that look fantastic. I would definitely recommend this team of professionals to anyone looking for electrical work and will certainly call them again should we need work done. Thank you to the entire team!”

“We decided to finish our basement this past winter. Part of the reno involved moving the Electrical circuit panel. This work needed to be completed within a certain time frame as we were working within tight deadlines. I placed a call to Mr. Electric and received a call back from Susan the same day. She was able to schedule a consultation within 24 hrs. We were very impressed with the fact that Susan accomodated our request at such short notice. After the initial consultation and quote, Scott and Devin were scheduled in less than a week later to complete the work. Both Scott and Devin were easy to work with, provided much advice and guidance, easily shared their knowledge and expertise. They were very respectful of our home and renovation expectations with respect to quality of work, timelines and follow up. They were very accomodating to our requests even if last minute - midstream, we decided to also install pot lights in our upstairs family room. After living with the lighting choice for a few weeks, we decided to switch our lighting from led to halogen simply because we did not like the type of lighting that the led provided. Mr. Electric was quick to respond to our request and made the switch with absolutely no problem! “I had been planning to remodel my kitchen for months, but the daunting task of finding an electrical contractor to do the electrical had me delaying this project month after month. I finally faced my fears and got some recommendations from friends on the best company to do this. CLI Electric was highly recommended several times, so I decided to call them for a quote. He is professional, efficient, easy-going, creative and executes his work with exceptional quality. We engaged Rob after discovering that we had unlicensed work completed on our property. It was really important to us that we knew specifically who would be doing the work on our property. Rob is so well-known in the community not only did he provide exceptional references, one of the other electrical companies that bid on our project even confirmed that Rob is a great electrician and that we were in good hands. They were right! Rob was able to guide us through the deficiencies and help us understand how we could come up to code. Often times Rob would come up with multiple options of how we could fix specific problems where access wasn’t always as readily available for the electrical work and he always tried to work with us to come up with the most efficient option. He was extremely patient & knowledgeable when explaining to us all the options and the nuances of the electrical code. Once we confirmed to go ahead, Rob was able to schedule panel changeout with our local hydro company very quickly and was flexible to help squeeze us in for urgent work even when he had other jobs on the go. Rob was also genuinely kind, caring and patient with us. We had to schedule work from other trades to facilitate Rob’s efforts (which sometimes took a couple of months) and Rob did so without any complaints. Rob always had a smile on his face and would cater to our needs. He answered all our questions and helped us understand. He was organized and so pleasant to deal with.
