“Great experience! And when we do the last couple of windows during major remodel, we'll go back to them. We also want to do a French slider - again, from RBA.
The installers were marvelous. They had some major frustrations removing the windows and it took longer than expected. But they were careful and worked through it. The guys communicated throughout the process. Dry rot was found and taken care of, gapping issues discussed and resolved. Excellent outcome. The carpenter sent to trim the windows subsequently was amazing. He also listened and talked with us regarding our options, and listened when I let him know about blinds being re-installed. Great job - looks good, if not better.
I took awhile to get on the schedule for final review. We had a few problems with office personnel and paperwork issues that we are still handling. Not happy with that, but it's a small price to pay for the gorgeous windows. We couldn't be happier with the way they look - inside & out; the way they function and how easy they are to use (compared tour old, original windows!) What a difference! The true test will be come this winter - hopefully we'll experience the true efficiency of or investment.”

“Great company and product. Chris from Brightside was excellent to work with. He was very thorough and provided all the needed information about the windows, install, and aftercare/warranty. The initial consultation time was short and to the point. There was no pressure from him during the consultation and just wanted to make sure he was able to provide the information and answer the questions we had. Turn around time was quicker than expected to get the windows manufactured. The installers were very courteous with the kids in online home school and a dog that's nervous around strangers. The installers did a great job installing the windows, explaining any issues they ran into. The windows are such an upgrade and really is amazing how much more light comes through them. Now we are budgeting to get the rest of the windows replaced and will for sure have Brightside Home Solutions replace them.”

“We wanted to replace the original windows and sliding door in our mid-century house with something updated and energy efficient. Due to the larger sizes of the door and windows, we didn't want to use one of the standard window companies, who would have had to add more sections of windows to make things work. That would have taken away from the view from the house. After much research, we settled on using Fleetwood windows and doors. The only distributor for them in the Portland area was Glacier Window and Door. The process, from meeting with the sales person to installation, was painless. The sales person Michael was great to work with. He was extremely responsive and knowledgeable of the product. He was not pushy at all. He brought the installer over to take a look. With an engineering background, I was very technical in my questions and wanted to know the details of the installation. They spent the time to explain everything in detail. They did a great job with the installation and cleaning everything up.”

“My house is an 1804 cape in NH. Built on boulder foundation. Nothing is level or plumb anymore so the windows are the biggest source of heat loss by far. Indows have reduced the drafts as advertised. Reduced road noise significantly as well. All as advertised.
Fit is quite snug so it takes some effort to get them in properly.
Somehow, they seem to increase the light in the room. Can't really notice them once installed.
First trial in 2017 went well so completed the rest of the house in 2018. Far better than exterior storm windows. Now, my heater doesn't run all night long after I shut down the woodstove.”

“It has been a pleasure working with Pacific Rim. Our project was a very complicated window and exterior metal door package. The cost for supply and installation was pushing $400,000. The window and door frame product was Fleetwood. The insulated glass units were mostly triple glazed and were from 3-different vendors. We simply could not have done this project without Pacific Rim. They have helped us from the first estimate to the last piece of glass installed. Our company and I would definitely work with them again in the future.”
