“For the last few months, my wife and I were considering updating our yard. The idea originally was to freshen up the space with some plants and possibly do some hard-scape as well. We spoke to a couple of landscape contractors but truthfully weren't convinced. Sometime went by and a neighbor suggested to contact A&E Landscapes. This neighbor had had work done by them in the past and was very pleased with the workmanship and final product. I contacted them and spoke to a lady by the name of Ana. She was very pleasant and had a number of questions. We ended the call by agreeing to meet so she can have a better understanding of my wife and I ideas of the project. A day or so went by and we met. I was very surprise how Ana made me feel at ease. She was very detailed on her explanation and very resourceful with blue prints, pictures of current and past projects. Fast forward to now and I am happy to say that the vision my wife and I had for our backyard was met above and beyond! I couldn't say enough about this company. Well done, really.”

“We hired New Canaan to re-do our backyard and make it into an outside living area complete with a new structure attached to our home, a bar area, fire pit, lighting, landscaping, irrigation and drainage. We had a hard deadline for them to meet as well. Although New Canaan was hired as the "general contractor", as with any large and creative project, there will be decisions that have to be made along the way. There will also be some trial and error, and there will be a lot of communication required. I stayed very engaged and surveyed the work being done at the end of every day. This was a great practice in order to give feedback, ask questions, and collaborate. In the end, the project was finished on time and was very beautifully done. The CEO, project manager, and design consultant listened very closely and provided satisfactory solutions to all of our questions and concerns. I would recommend anyone looking for high end quality design and work to look at New Canaan.”
