They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). “We hired New Canaan to re-do our backyard and make it into an outside living area complete with a new structure attached to our home, a bar area, fire pit, lighting, landscaping, irrigation and drainage. We had a hard deadline for them to meet as well. Although New Canaan was hired as the "general contractor", as with any large and creative project, there will be decisions that have to be made along the way. There will also be some trial and error, and there will be a lot of communication required. I stayed very engaged and surveyed the work being done at the end of every day. This was a great practice in order to give feedback, ask questions, and collaborate. In the end, the project was finished on time and was very beautifully done. The CEO, project manager, and design consultant listened very closely and provided satisfactory solutions to all of our questions and concerns.
